Transportation Assistance
Helping Neighbors Stay Healthy, Independent, and Connected
Reliable transportation is essential for maintaining health, independence, and quality of life. The McCall Senior & Community Center's Transportation Assistance Program helps eligible older adults and medically vulnerable community members access healthcare and other essential services when transportation would otherwise be a barrier.
About the Program
Living in a rural community often means traveling long distances for medical care, grocery shopping, pharmacies, and other essential services.
For many older adults and individuals with health challenges, transportation can become one of the biggest barriers to remaining healthy and independent. Our Transportation Assistance Program helps bridge that gap by connecting eligible riders with transportation for essential appointments and services.
The program operates through community partnerships and is coordinated with healthcare providers to improve access to care while helping individuals remain safely in their homes and connected to their community.
