Meals on Wheels

Nutritious Meals Delivered with Care

The McCall Senior & Community Center partners with Meals on Wheels Metro Boise to provide home-delivered meals for eligible older adults and other qualifying individuals in the greater McCall area.

About the Program

For those who are unable to attend our Community Dinners, Meals on Wheels helps ensure continued access to nutritious meals while supporting independence and helping individuals remain safely in their own homes.

In addition to delivering healthy meals, our volunteers provide a friendly visit and an opportunity for regular social connection — something that can make a meaningful difference for neighbors who spend much of their time at home.

If you or someone you know may benefit from Meals on Wheels, we encourage you to contact the appropriate organization below to determine eligibility and begin the enrollment process.

Who Is Eligible?

There are several ways to receive Meals on Wheels services.

Option 1 — Adults Age 60+

If you are 60 years of age or older, do not drive, or do not live with someone who drives, you may qualify for Meals on Wheels through the Area Agency on Aging. Eligibility is determined during a brief phone assessment based on factors such as age, transportation availability, ability to prepare meals safely, and overall level of need.

A suggested (but not required) donation of $5 per meal helps support the program, but no eligible participant is denied meals because of inability to donate.

My mother lives alone and I worry about her constantly. Knowing that a volunteer checks on her twice a week — and that she's getting a hot meal — gives our whole family peace of mind.
